Shustraya, common don't make up stories.

The place was more than beatiful - nice decore inside, a historical building and clean indeed, especially the restrooms. There were more than 10 people, but even if there were just 10 people - how did that change the idea of seeing a play?

The embarassing part was that you guys left so unexpectedly leaving the playwriter confused. That was unrespectful to her art and work. She for months tried to reach the Chechen community, and when you did show up - you ...

I didn't mean to sound harsh - but please guys, don't do that next time. Don't come at all if that's what you gonna do. At least pretend that you value art and culture, and not just coming there for show of.

Lady, the show was ok. Unfortunately we'd got some problems during our way to LA, so we missed the whole hour, which is the most of the play, but the actors were awsome - good acting, indeed. It was about the filmmaker who wanted to shoot a film, a documentary about Chechnya by retelling a story of a refugee - a surgeon. Meanwhile the documentary filmmaker was in a relationships, a love story with some complications. At the end it turned out that the Chechen surgeon, a refugee, was a Russian soldier, who made up the whole story when in reality he fought in Chechnya.

At the end of the play we went to the local restoraunt and celebrated Albert's birthday.

I am a native English speaker, studying Russian at my University. I would like to correspond with Chechen students wishing to practice English. I am interested in learning Chechen and practicing Russian as well.

lol,u're being ridiculous!
It was dirty and surounded by homeless people! They were getting meals from that building when we came. By the time u got there, they probably went inside to get some sleep.

We didn't even meet the playwriter. Unless she was the lady who was selling tickets.
And there was nothing embrassing about us leaving the show. She should have done a better job. We didn't like it- we left.
And no one was trying to show off. You haven't even met us and u're already trying to judge us.

Lady was gonna fly over here to see that show, imagine how disappointed she would have been?...

I'm stuyding russian too, but its so so so hard! ((
Like, on the quiz we had in class today, I had to write out "zdrasvychie" but i didn't know how to Cyrillicize, so i just had to write that word out in English letters (

I do know all these phrases, even though I have no clue what they mean, like "ochean pryatna!" and "kak y vas zavut?"

the thing that confused me the most was "moi", "maya" and all the variations! so confusing!
