Please reference ReliefWeb. Job reference code: RW_7GPPPF-46 ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/SCOPE OF WORK: 1. Oversees implementation of country health (TB control, maternal and child health, HIV/AIDS, Family Planning, GBV prevention, psychosocial assistance etc), community mobilization (income generation, youth initiatives, vocational training etc) and rehabilitation of health facilities program, directs public health activities and conducts pertaining needs assessments 2. Produces monthly and quarterly activity reports for IMC, authorities, and donors; maintains development of all data and indicators of IMC programs 3. Designs new program initiatives, identifies donors, and prepares proposals 4. Serves as a liaison with local authorities and counterparts, UN and NGO agencies, when it is needed 5. Oversees project logistics, finance and administrative support of several donors currently funding IMC – BPRM, USAID/IREX, DFID CSCF, SV, ECHO 6. Performs full duties of IMC Country Director on his/her absence 7. Supervises staff of 40. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Experience is required in primary health systems, GBV prevention, community mobilization, civil society programming, youth initiatives, income generating activities. 2. Experience is required in working with donors: USAID, ECHO, PRM, SV and DFID. 3. Demonstrated leadership abilities (including proven conflict resolution skills) working with other technical specialists and project partners. 4. Superior writing, research, and presentation skills. 5. Able to produce results within tight deadlines. 6. Exceptional interpersonal, teamwork, and partnering skills. 7. Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills. 8. Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint. 9.
